The Tale Of Snow White, Aurora, and Ariel whom desired to Disney Bound.

Once upon a time there were three young princess who were the greatest of friends. They did almost everything together! They went into town to find the best of their lands garments, they dined together, they brushed and set each others locks of beautiful hair... They did everything together! One day they decided to go visit the grandest of all the Lands, Disneyland. You can stroll back in time on Main Street USA and visit the quaint markets that sells the best food, fabrics, and thingymabobs or you can go on an adventure with Sir Indiana Jones in Adventure Land. You can do almost anything in this eminent land.

Princess Snow White partook in the grandest adventure alongside of Princess Aurora and Princess Ariel to celebrate their grand day of birth here. They dined at the finest restaurants, had portraits taken of them, and met a vast array of other princesses, princes, kings, queens, and characters alike. They signed their portraits and gave to those who requested so.

Snow White, Ariel, and Aurora begin their journey on Main Street USA...

...The princesses were admired by all different princes and princesses.

Snow White wished...

"I'm wishing! I'm wishing! For the one I love..."

Ariel asked and then received something so very important for Disneyland...

"Walking around on those - what do you call 'em? Oh - feet!"

Aurora danced, twirled and sung in front of her castle...

"I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream!"

...Ariel even found her a very special dinglehopper.

The two in whom the day was honoring paid a visit to the most powerful in all the land...

...Snow White gave gifts to her two fellow princesses that she molded by hand with the use of her seven dwarfs cottage and all that was in it.

The three princesses got a little sleepy so they found the finest coffee in all the land...

...Ariel was able to see her family Unda Da Sea.

While on the water Snow White met an old witch who gave her an apple...Oh my! Does Snow White live?!...

... She does live to see the light of day!

And in time to be admired by some of her fellow princes and princesses...

If you are wondering if the three found their princes, they did not. But do not fret! They have not lost hope in living... Happily Ever After...

The End.

...maybe this is why they did not find their true loves...

Growing Out A Pixie (In A Vintage Manner)

While having a pixie was fun, easy, and adorable, I really missed doing all my vintage hairstyles. I noticed that not only do I get more compliments when my hair is done in a vintage fashion but it truly completes the entire outfit.

Ever since I got my pixie cut my hair has grown a mile faster than when it was on the longer side. This is probably because I cut all the bad stuff off so when it would grow it would all be healthy new hair that was coming out of my scalp. I had gotten my hair cut sometime in the middle of last semester as short as can be and now its back to its shorter Marilyn length! I think this is my favorite length so far because I can do any 60's do, Audrey Hepburn, or Marilyn Monroe hair do. A girl has to have her options!

Everyone said that it was going to be hard to grow out a pixie because it'll go through a bunch of awkward stages and because it's extremely short. I found this to not be the case... so far. Yes, I went through some awkward stages with it but I was able to mask that for the most part with some vintage flare.

Here are the stages my hair went through so far, I'm growing it out as far as I possibly can which as history has shown me isn't very far. BUT I WILL TRY TO BREAK THE CYCLE.

These photos aren't the best quality because they are taken from my phone and not an actual camera, sorry! I hope that this post made some of you fellow pixies feel better about growing your own pixie out.
I will definitely go back to a pixie someday because it is an adorable hair cut but for now, while I'm young and can get away with it I want to have fun trying out new vintage hairstyles for all my outfits.

WARNING: When you grow your pixie out you will need to add on an extra 30 minutes to an hour to your initial routine for your hair or else you will be late to your destination.

Little Lady Photography

I was given the opportunity to have a fun photoshoot with my friend Alexis Hibbets who is an amazing photographer. We decided to do a 1920's photoshoot along with a few dance shots. We had lot's of fun on site and the pictures turned out beautiful. We had taken these awhile ago and I had promised everyone that I would make a blogpost about it. Alexis is fun to work with and such a sweet young woman. If you're interested in more of her work check out her site... (:

At times I like to pretend I'm Snow White, especially when there is a wishing well involved.

Now, there were ALOT more photos that I felt were beautiful but I felt that I personally felt I looked unattractive in. I added some photos in here that I felt that the photography overpowered my grossness, yes I'm that self conscious. I hope you enjoyed our shoot! If you did make sure that you check out her other work!

There are no excuses, I put the link TWICE... get going. (:

A Unique Way to Vent.

Vent: A means of escape or release from confinement; an outlet.

Have you ever felt so stressed that you find yourself just staring into space, thinking about everything in your life and how it is just passing by? You see all of your friends doing great in college, having amazing experiences, getting the credits they need in order to get their specific degree. You see them working hard and going after what they want and you have no idea what you are doing or where you want to go. You feel like you are going nowhere and feel like you are just wasting your time. Well, I have been in this funk as of lately. School never seems to work out semester after semester, my technique in dance has not gotten where I want it to be, and as for a job I'm too afraid to commit to anything because I don't want to screw up any other opportunities. I have been looking at some programs that should be an amazing experience but then I doubt myself and think, "Well, it would be smarter to do this..." and I back track. I'm too afraid to audition for opportunities in the dance world. I have not been this stressed out in a while and I hate it. Not only that but I see everyone in meaningful relationships and I have never even been in one before. I can't help but feel like I'm meant to be a crazy, single, unsuccessful cat lady going nowhere in life.
I have gotten so, just, dumbfounded that the only thing I can do is turn to the one man who has always been there since day one. God. Yes I am a firm believer in Christ. Not only believe in him, but live my life according to him and his ways. I couldn't imagine living a life without him to go to with all my burdens, like these. He listens to me and not only that, but always leads me on the right path. It's crazy because there are times where I'm stuck and do not know what to do and then I'll suddenly see a verse somewhere random as a a stationary set and it has everything to do with my specific problem. True story.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord , "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. " Jeremiah 29:11. This happens to be my favorite verse from the Bible. I had actually got this verse on a plaque as a gift from my bosses in the nursery that I work in. It's a gift that I'll never get rid of or forget, not only because it's the prettiest little plaque, but because it's  words of hope and encouragement that I will always need to remember walking through this crazy world.

I realize that not everyone believes in God. I realize that this post might make me lose followers. I hope that's not the case. I hope that even if you may not believe that maybe you can take these words into consideration and really just think about what all of this verse stands for. It doesn't just stand for hope for the future, but for a God who only wants the best for you and has a plan for you. One who knows what he's doing with us and our lives. ONe who loves us no matter what and only wants our love in return, just like what we crave from others. We just need to give in and give our stresses to him in order to receive the fantastic life that is in store for us.

I hope that this post brings someone curiosity, hope, or faith in God. I need not forget that God is here 24/7 for me and all I have to do is stop what I am doing and pray. Just pray to a God who is most loving and present in the conversation. I hope the same for you.

If you feel somehow convicted by this post, I dare you to take the next step, pray. Whether you believe or not. If you feel your heart beat out of your chest when reading this it most likely means God is reaching out to you and wants you to talk to him. Try it. It couldn't hurt to try, right?

I think my blog is going to take a different turn. I want this blog to be about ALL aspects of my life. God, family, friends, fashion, dance, and my experience through this roller coaster of a life. I want to be a more serious blogger. I don't want my blog to be just "cute", I want it to be beautiful, powerful, and full of inspiration. That is  my new goal, to inspire YOU.

Have a good rest of your day!

Sincerely,

Paige Virginia

It's been too long... Once again.

Yikes it's been awhile! I know it's been so long since my last post, I have just been outrageously busy! With 2 jobs, school, friends, family, birthdays, and the holiday season I just haven't had time to take many photos or post many blog entry's. I miss you guys terribly though and I wanted to catch you up on my life.

I got my hair cut again... even shorter, although now it's starting to get long again.

He's just too much that Mickey Mouse.

Chewie can get a tad bit crazy at times.

Veiny dancer feet.

This really happened...

... and we had no idea it was going on that day.

Modern Snow White. (Once Upon A Time Snow White dress)

Original Snow White.

Christmas time at Disneyland is the best time to go.

Mad Tea Party anyone?

The place to hear a song that will play over and over and over and over again through your head.

Wanted to watch the lighting ceremony but it was taking too long.

Ariel.

Snow White.

Aurora.

And I have gone to Disneyland a few times. If you can't tell I adore Disneyland. For me, it's a place to go to when I want to have a grand time with friends and to just feel nostalgic. I haven't really gone thrifting or antiquing or anything recently but hope to go sometime soon! I have another blog post that will be coming to you guys soon this up coming week about my experience making legitimate candy canes. It was so  much fun!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and other Happy Holidays!

Till next time my dearies,
